Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Ten Degrees provides reservation software to restaurants. This page explains how to have your data deleted, depending on how you used the service.
If you connected your restaurant's Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp account
You used Facebook Login to connect your business accounts to Ten Degrees. You can delete the data linked to that login at any time, in either of two ways.
Option 1 — Remove the app from Facebook
- Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- Open Apps and Websites.
- Find Ten Degrees in the list and select Remove.
Facebook notifies us automatically. We immediately disconnect every Page, Instagram account, and WhatsApp Business Account you authorized, delete the stored access tokens, and remove the link between your Facebook account and those connections. We also ask Meta to stop sending us messages for those accounts.
Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a status link when you remove the app. You can open that link at any time to check whether the deletion has finished.
Option 2 — Disconnect inside Ten Degrees
Sign in to your dashboard, open Settings → Integrations, and disconnect each channel. This removes the same stored credentials and connection data.
What this covers: the access tokens and account connections created when you authorized Ten Degrees, and the record linking them to your Facebook account.
What this does not cover: your restaurant's own booking records, and messages sent to your restaurant by your guests. Those belong to your restaurant, not to your Facebook login, and are covered in the next section. To close your restaurant's account entirely and have that data deleted, email us at the address below.
If you are a guest who messaged or booked a restaurant
When you book a table or message a restaurant that uses Ten Degrees, the restaurant decides how your information is used. Ten Degrees stores and processes it on that restaurant's behalf.
To have your data deleted, contact the restaurant you booked with directly. They can erase your details from their Ten Degrees account, and we give them built-in tools to do it.
If you cannot reach the restaurant, or you would rather we pass the request on, email [email protected]. Please tell us:
- the restaurant's name;
- the phone number or email address you used to book or message;
- your booking reference, if you have one.
We forward your request to the restaurant and support them in completing it. Requests are tracked from the day we receive them and are handled within 30 days.
What gets deleted: your name, phone number, email address, and any notes held about you, along with the contact details attached to your past bookings and waitlist entries. Those records are kept only as anonymous entries, with nothing identifying you.
What may be kept: if you have an upcoming booking, the restaurant will need to cancel or complete it before erasing your details. A restaurant may also need to keep limited records where the law requires it — for example for tax or accounting purposes, or where the information is subject to a legal hold.
